From a Small Town
I was raised on a farm in western Illinois. Growing up on a farm in a small town, I learned the small town perspective of pulling myself up by the boot straps. Learning this perspective at a young age taught me that as a person you have to believe in yourself to get through the hurdles in life.
2.
Political Science and Theatre Background
As an undergraduate at the University of Dubuque, I majored in theatre and political science. I wanted to study these majors because I wanted to learn how politics related to theatre. My senior capstone for my political major was a paper that correlated the theories of Hobbes Levaithan and Pluto’s the Republic to the Merchant of Venice and Yellowstone to explain the ideas of mercy and justice.

Master’s in London
After my undergraduate degree, I decided to go get my Master’s in LONDON! I got my Masters and Rose Bruford College at Sidcup where I developed my craft as an actor, writer, and director. I also learned movement techniques such as Gaga and Viewpoints. While I learned these things I also discovered my passion for a feminist POV mostly concerning women with financial troubles.
